Physical Education Monica Yori

I am Monica Yori and I have taught in Ankeny my entire career!  This is my 33rd year in Ankeny as an elementary Physical Education teacher!  I love teaching the young kids how to play and have fun doing activity and movement!  Giving the kids ideas on how they can achieve lifetime success by having fun doing physical activity is my main goal along with making sure all kids know they are important!  I am currently at Southeast Elementary and love being around all the staff and students all day long!  You can find me in the gym or outside playing or in the halls or lunchroom all day long engaging with my family here at SE!  I live in Ames and am a lifelong Cyclone!  I have 1 daughter and 1 stepdaughter and 1 stepson!  I currently have 5 grandkids and hope for several more!  I love to travel and go to sporting events and spend time with family and friends!
