Business Education Michael Mertz

Hello, my name is Michael Mertz.  I am a proud alum of Wartburg College (2009 Business Administration Marketing) and Drake University (2012 MAT). I teach high school business courses MOC and Managing Your Money. I will lead the Future Business Leaders of America at AHS.   I also coach 9th grade football and 8th grade boys track.  Outside of school I enjoy being with family and friends, grilling out, fishing, reading, being outdoors, watching sports and movies, going out to eat, traveling, and more.  I am passionate about building relationships with kids, getting them excited about learning, and preparing them for success beyond school.  Ankeny is an excellent community and I look forward to working with our students.
