Special Ed Teacher Laura Liechti

My name is Laura Liechti and I am currently a special education teacher at Parkview Middle School.  I have been teaching in Ankeny since 2014 and previously taught special education for 11 years in Des Moines.  I have taught Kindergarten through 8th graders in a variety of special education settings including pullout, self-contained, small groups, and co-teaching.  I have a passion for teaching students with special needs.  I live in Ankeny with my husband, Seth, and our 4 children, Emma, Owen, Sophia and Levi.  Together we enjoy going camping, being outdoors, spending time with family and playing sports.   I received my teaching degree from Iowa State University and my master’s degree from Drake University.
