703.20 Supervision of the Maintenance and Operational System Department

The Chief Operations Officer (COO)/designee, supervises the Maintenance and Operational Systems. Other District personnel responsibilities are:

  1. The custodial supervisor schedules the custodial staff.
  2. The Head Custodian is responsible for implementing the custodial program and schedule for their assigned building, at the direction of the custodial supervisor.
  3. The teacher has a responsibility to keep rooms as clean as possible to minimize work of custodial staff. They can also help by closing windows, locking doors, putting up chairs at the end of the day, turning off lights, etc.
