Resident pupils qualifying for special program classes in a school other than their neighborhood school shall be provided transportation from their neighborhood school to the location or building of the special class. (See Series 600 for special education transportation guidelines.)

Under certain circumstances, the Board may require parents or guardians to transport their children to the school designated for the special program. The parent or guardian will be reimbursed for such transportation as designated by statute.
