607.10 School Counseling Program
The Board shall provide a comprehensive school counseling program for the students enrolled which is staffed by a Professional School counselor certified with the State Department of Education and holding the qualifications required by the Board of Educational Examiners. The school counseling services will serve grades kindergarten through twelve. The program will promote future readiness of students by assisting them with their academic achievement, social/emotional development, and career planning. The program shall be designed to coordinate with the educational program and to involve licensed District personnel.
